In August 2019 Michael Tracy opened for Bret Michaels in Rock Hill, SC. Due to unforeseen circumstances Bret's acoustic guitar did not show up to the gig so Michael offered his for Bret to play that night. Bret then went on to sign the guitar for Michael. Aware that Bret Michaels suffered from Type 1 Diabetes and of his support for the JDRF foundation, Michael Tracy decided to raffle off the guitar and throw a benefit concert with all net proceeds going to the JDRF - Carolinas via Anchored In A Cure - A local foundation run by Patricia Erickson who's son Andrew died from insulin shock 6 years ago. Michael also offered all net streaming/sales proceeds from his song "Stand Behind Me" to be donated through Dec. 31, 2019.
In addition to raffling off the Bret Michaels signed guitar there will be other gift packages raffled off as well. Purchasers of the $20 raffle ticket are eligible for all drawings. You don't have to be present at the concert to win so if you can't go to the show and win you will be contacted to arrange for shipping of your prize.
