Michael Tracy (Singer, Songwriter, Guitarist) combines straightforward American Rock and Roll with poignant lyrical themes, reminiscent of Singer/Songwriters like Tom Petty, John Mellencamp, & Bob Seger.  He has released four studio albums, and together with his band has been invited to be supporting act for rock heavy weights like twice opening for Bon Jovi (garnering him a featured article in Billboard Magazine), Poison, George Thorogood, Styx, Foreigner, Don Felder, Jefferson Starship, Dokken, Marshall Tucker Band, Foghat, America, & Bret Michaels.  Michael is currently playing live and working on new music for 2021.

The Lost Year - New Single

The Lost Year was written while Michael was under quarantine after testing positive for Covid-19.  The new single is the first music Michael has released since his Still Got Soul album.  While many artists will be releasing songs about the 2020-21 pandemic lockdown, Michael avoids the typical traps of referencing divisive politics or social commentary.  No political bumber stickers, no talk of masks or Zoom meetings.  Michael reaches for the greater universal and common emotions that nearly all can relate to and provides an anthemic and hopeful chorus that calls us not to 'dwell on things we can't change, and we will get by the lost year.'  Look for more music from Michael in 2021 as he is preparing for a new full album release.
